They happen a lot with me – “accidents”. They’re actually a result of my clumsiness but I like to call them “accidents” because they happen without my will or intention :)
I walk into furniture all the time...couches, beds, tables, chairs…and stub my toes or hit my knee or hit myself on the hipbone (depending on the height of the furniture). I walk into door knobs. And most of the times I don’t even realize it until there is a blue-green-purple bruise staring at me. Then I try to think what kind of furniture I must have walked into to get that bruise!!
I also “accidentally” kick things on the floor….glasses, coffee mugs. I kick them all. I kick them while walking & they go flying to the other end of the room, like a spin top yoyo!!
The other day a glass went flying right into my laptop – which thankfully was shut & the glass empty!! These small mercies make me believe there IS a God….really.

Me too....... the minute somebody tells me the tea is hot.. i promptly drop it on myself!! I am so accident prone.. fell through a chair once!!!!!!!!! Extremely embarrasing to describe it to colleagues when they ask....
Did you say dropped it on his head???? lol
Nooooo...I was about to drop it on the you-know-what of the HR Head!! Missed it by an inch. He was sitting there talking to someone.
Im proud of you.
what u didn't mention is that the coffe was from CCD as I was once proudly told by someone I am q uite fond off there. I keep stubbing myself at home...bec its so tiny
@ the Knife - I didn't get you? The coffee wasnt from CCD, it was from the vending machine in office.
isn't that a CCD vending machine...btw ur HR head, if he's still the same guy, had to undergo a HR training by me they day he joined :)
@ The Knife - No, that guy left the day after I joined! Lol :) There's a new guy in his place & boy, is he funny!! He's short, round from everywhere, wears round glasses, carries a baby pink cell phone & stands at the Camac Street crossing & asks "Where is the Camac Street crossing?" Errr..he should know coz our office is AT the Camac Street crossing & he comes to office everyday!!
well he will fit in with the HR in your new co...spaced out, a bag of hot air and disconnected from reality
@ The Knife - Wow! Those are some strong words about your previous company ;)
once bitten
I think I share the same feeling & I've just started!!
