I am impressed! you have read Hugo as well!!
adding to Moonshine's comment, most of them are such good books!!
Middlemarch is the book I would have written if I could write one. Else Crime and Punishment, if I were a guy or could write like a guy.

I guess the place to learn English is India now :)

@Moonshine - Yeah! There are many classics that I haven't read and now I have a list! :)

@Melee - Yes, I've read Les Miserables. It took a lot to read through it but I made it. The Hunchback of Notre Dame is still on my list though :)

@The Knife - Not if you think about the kind of English you get to read in the papers these days. Or in ppts at work!

40 is my count. I have read most of Shakespeare but am not sure it can be counted as Complete Works. So, leaving that out. I think most of the books you have read are one my "already read" list. Some that you have not highlighted include all the Jane Austen Works, LOTR, Philip Pullman, Salinger, Jane Eyre, Narnia series, Animal Farm, Montogomery and Three Musketeers. Some that you have read and I have not include Gatsby, Life of Pi, 1984,Steinbeck, Golding etc.

@Chanz - Good to have you back. Maybe you should do this tag too?

@Bluestocking - I'm not surprised. You're a bookworm, I'm not :)

Hi,

I'm new to the whole blogging thing, but it's good to find other people who love reading. I just finished A Christmas Carol, so I'm now up to 36 on the list. Love your festive background by the way.

@TC - Hi, TC. Thanks for stopping by and congrats on your score (on the books). I'm a complete Christmas person, so that explains the festive background :)
