a bengali colleague had gone to visit her parents when they were based at Saudi. Her mom got a head scarf for her as all women have to wear that and cannot move around without their father or brother
@The Knife - I know that. They also have to ensure their arms & legs are fully covered at all times. Even their ankles cannot show!!
@Moonshine - Money makes the world go round :) Indians go their solely for money. You'd also find a lot of families where the earning member (usually the man) lives there & his family lives back in India. Probably b/c of that reason. It's oppressive to say the least.

How do women stay there? Locals i can understand.. they have grown up with that culture.. but how do Indians go and stay there?
